Mundo Imperial Entertainment & Hospitality Debuts WAYAM Mundo Imperial

Mundo Imperial Entertainment & Hospitality has debuted WAYAM Mundo Imperial, its first hotel in Mérida and the first LEED-certified hotel in the city.  

WAYAM Mundo Imperial bridges urban design with the lush nature and history of its setting. This luxury boutique hotel features 52 suites infusing state-of-the-art amenities with high-tech sophistication, urban design and sustainable innovation. Unique features include dog-friendly accommodations, aromatherapy and wellness experiences, and design according to the Golden Ratio. The resort also features signature restaurant Cuna, a gastronomic concept created and helmed by Chef Maycoll Calderon, known for his award-winning restaurants and bar in Mexico City. The restaurant hosts a monthly dinner series, “Cena entre Amigos” (Dinner Among Friends), in which Chef Calderon invites guest chefs from across Mexico and the world to cook together, creating an unforgettable gastronomic experience.
